Tips for Driving in the Sun

A sunny day can ultimately provide beautiful scenery for a driver but it can also create a major hazard if the driver does not have full sight of the road due to a glaring sun. The following are a few ways you can protect yourself when driving into the sun.

You should leave extra room between you and the car ahead of you. It can be hard to see what the car ahead of you is doing when the sun is in your eyes. If the car in front of you slams on their brakes and you are too close to them, it could result in a serious accident.

Another tip is to utilize your sun visor to block out the sun. While this may not completely block out the sun, it will allow you to get a clear view of the road and what is happening in front of you.
